oh yay. i have shingles. what fun.

yeah actually i got it about a week ago. mmm. i panicked cause i had no idea what it was lol XD. at least its only mild, i google imaged it and  ewwwwwwwwww luckkky mine is nothing like that. only a small bit on my arm ;___; it hurts though

i looked it up and 1 in 10 people who have had chickenpox as a child will get it as adults. BUT I'M STILL A CHILD. >> and 70% of shingles is in people over 50 so its pretty weird that i have it. i mean, i dont have that weak of an immune system or anything.
and so.. it is down to "severe emotional or physical stress" which is the only other cause and pretty much sums up the last few months {year} (excluding china, it was like.. a break from everything)
so yay.
i'm severely stressed. you hear that teachers? grr.
oh and throw some depression into the mix.


oh and on a totally different note, i've started reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. it's beautifully written, albiet extremely disturbing. mature readers only :S this is the ending and the line which prompted me to read the book i'm in love with it (the line)

I am thinking of aurochs and angels, the secret of durable pigments, prophetic sonnets, the refuge of art. And this is the only immortality you and I may share, my Lolita.
